Energy Unit Convertors www.ex.ac.uk/cimt/dictunit.htm This website provides a summary of most of the units of measurement in use around the world, together with conversion factors needed to change them into a standard unit of measure under the Systeme International (SI). Provides historical descriptions of each unit as well as conversion factors. www.barlowjonker.com This website contains a simple convertor which allows the user to convert between different units. Through a related link with the Santos Energy website, one can also perform conversions between different units for oil and gas. Energy Statistics & Analytical Reports The following websites provide free of charge domestic energy statistics and, in the case of the EIA website, international energy statistics, analyst presentations and reports. www.eia.doe.gov The US Department of Energy website provides a comprehensive listing of all reports and statistics available on-line from the US DOE's Energy Information Agency. The website also provides links to other websites of interest. It also provides information on energy conversion factors but these factors are all expressed in barrels and MMBTU. www.bp.com The British Petroleum Company publishes on-line an annual report titled: Statistical Review of World Energy. The latest report covers 2004 and has a built in chart generator and other utilities. www.egat.co.th Website for Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. Data on load forecasts for Thailand and EGAT power plant statistics. www.eppo.go.th Website for the Energy Policy and Planning Organization within the Ministry of Energy, Royal Government of Thailand. It has links to other government websites containing energy information. Most information, however, is in Thai. The site is not very useful to non-Thai readers. www.pttep.co.th Website for the Petroleum Authority of Thailand (Exploration and Production).
